What is Extract PDF Pages?

Extract PDF Pages creates a new PDF containing only the pages you select (for example 2, 5–8). It does not trim margins — that is Crop PDF Pages. Processing runs locally with pdf-lib.

Key features

  • Precise page selection
  • Keeps whole pages, does not crop margins
  • 100% client-side

How to use it

  1. Open the tool.
  2. Drop a PDF.
  3. Enter the pages or ranges you want to keep.
  4. Download the new PDF with only those pages.

When to use it

Use when you need to share only specific pages of a larger document without exposing the rest. If you meant to shrink the printable area of every page, use Crop instead.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as cropping a PDF?

No. Extract pulls out whole pages into a new file. Crop trims the edges of each page (margins). Use Crop PDF Pages if you want to cut whitespace.

Can I extract a page range?

Yes. Use notation like 1-3,7.
